Neil Daswani has served in a variety of research, development, teaching, and managerial roles since 1996 at Google, DoCoMo USA Labs, Stanford University, Yodlee, and Telcordia Technologies (formerly Bellcore). His areas of expertise include security, wireless data, and peer-to-peer systems. He is currently a practicing engineer at Google.
I developed some online security courses to help software developers and architects create software that is not easily vulnerable to attacks. You can access the slides and audio of the security courses through your web browser.
From June 1999 to June 2001, I spent my time on leave from
Stanford as the director of the wireless technology group at
Yodlee. Our group built the technology that powers the
Yodlee2Go suite of products and allows users to access Yodlee's
co-branded services from a large variety of mobile devices.
I worked as a part-time instructor for
SkillBuilders, a
leader in nationwide corporate technical training.
SkillBuilders
specializes in CORBA, Java, and Oracle training
and provides on-site IT training for clients
such as Merrill Lynch, Bellcore, SAIC, and EDS.
After graduating with my undergraduate degree, I spent some
time working on serveral interesting projects in Bellcore's
Advanced Internet Technology Research group.
